ZDF, the most popular German national TV channel, is offering with its ZDFmediathek a growing number of archived items and complete programs for on-demand viewing.
Within a very short timeframe, Microsoft specialist Axinom developed a ZDFmediathek version for Windows Vista Media Center. The mediatheque offers video in TV quality sometimes even before the actual broadcasting date. A technical highlight of this new edition is the seamless change between live and on-demand offers.
